Pasig City is primarily residential and industrial but over the years with the development of Ortigas Center which is one of the most important central business districts in Metro Manila, has been slowly becoming a commercial area. The western part of Pasig is where the facilities and repositories are found while the eastern part is more on residential areas and commercial establishments.

The city is located east of Manila along Marikina and Pasig River. It is also accessible through major roads such as Ortigas Avenue, Shaw Boulevard, Marcos Highway, C-5, Pioneer Street. 

Some of the condominiums that are available in Pasig are Brixton Place by DMCI, a resort-inspired lifestyle proposition near Pioneer Street and MRT Boni Avenue and Shaw Boulevard stations. Cambridge Village by Empire East, a French-inspired residential complex that is accessible via the East Bank Road.

With Pasig City's high-rise buildings, malls, educational institutions, and business entertainments, there are many destinations to explore.  Additionally, companies like San Miguel Corporation and the Philippine Stock Exchange are situated in Pasig City. 

Famous shopping malls in Pasig include the following:

  • Tiendesitas, a shopping complex located along C-5 road that has a variety of boutiques to shop from. 

  • Robinsons Galleria, a five-level shopping mall that is a famous landmark in EDSA.

With the number of major roads in Pasig, bottled traffic is inevitable. For commuters, modes of transportation include the Metro Manila Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 is close to Robinsons Galleria. There is also an FX terminal near Robinsons Galleria. Buses are available in EDSA.
