One of the districts in Muntinlupa City, with the development of industrial, residential and commercial establishments, Alabang has developed into another central business district in Metro Manila. It is also where the tallest structures of the city can be located. Major roads in Alabang are the South Luzon Expressway and the Alabang Zapote-Road which are narrow and usually congested.  

Condominiums in and near Alabang include Cerca Alabang by Alveo Land, a resort-themed mid-rise residential condominium located in Investment Drive, Alabang and Leaf Residences, a condominium with a unique design inspired by a tropical rainforest getaway. 

Filinvest City, which aided in the improvement of Alabang, is a township that is subdivided into districts that provide a range of establishments like business centers, education zones, medical hubs, and residential areas.

There are numerous shopping centers that can be found in Alabang, namely:

  • Festival Mall, a large shopping mall that is adjacent to other large malls in the South of Metro Manila. 

  • Starmall Alabang, which is the first community shopping mall in the city. 

  • Alabang Town Center, a shopping mall that has a number of high-end retail stores.

There are also multiple car dealerships that can be found along the Alabang-Zapote Road to name a few, Toyota Alabang, Ford Motors, Audi Westgate Alabang, Chevrolet Alabang, Mitubushi Motors Alabang Nissan, and Suzuki Alabang. 


The major roads along Alabang are constantly congested with traffic. For commuters, it is advisable to buses since there are terminals. Although jeepney routes have more flexible stops than buses. Philippine National Railways, which has Sucat, Alabang and Muntinlupa stations in the city.
